Pokémon Go is still coming to Apple Watch despite the email that was circulated over the internet that Pokémon Go on Apple Watch will be cancelled due to low demands.

"We have decided to stop development of the port of Pokémon GO for the Apple Watch," the email said.

Niantic Labs said that this email is not real and their developers are still working very hard for Pokémon Go for the Apple Watch. Pokémon Go is the best game ever for the Apple Watch since it is designed for travel. There is no decent reason why Niantic Labs would cancel Pokémon Go for the Apple Watch. It is a more convenient and safer way to play the game without taking your phone out. The Pokémon Go version for the Apple Watch also features fitness tracking which promotes a healty way of living.

A spokesperson for Niantic confirmed to GameSpot that Pokemon Go remains in development for Apple Watch.

"We'll have more news soon," the representative said.

This is good news to every Pokémon Go fanatics out there like you and me. Niantic Labs made clear that the development of Pokémon Go is still ongoing and it will be released soon. The plan was to release Pokémon Go to the Apple Watch in 2016 but it is least likely to happen because 2016 is about to end. Should it be released somewhere in 2017, its up to the Niantic Labs and Apple but rest assured that Pokémon Go on Apple Watch is not cancelled. Niantic Labs and Apple are doing their best for the development of the game. Everyone is so excited about it.
