'Aquaman' News & Updates: Orm Villain Patrick Wilson, Jason Momoa As Aquaman & The Rest Of The Cast

The movie "Aquaman", one of the movies intended to build up "Justice League" is preparing so much for a new masterpiece to be born. To revive the "Aquaman" legacy and to bring more fans for the JL team, the production and the cast is working real hard to make the movie worth watching.

The "Aquaman" movie will be filmed by 2017 at Village Roadshow Studios. It was pointed out that the reason for deciding the shooting location was because of the recent productions of the movies: Thor: Ragnarok, Pacific Rim: Maelstrom, Kong: Skull Island, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The movie directed by James Wan and will star Jason Momoa.

Jason Momoa, the actor who will play the titular role "Aquaman" was known for his role in "Game of Thrones" as Lord Khal Drogo and in "Stargate: Atlantis as Ronon Dex. Momoa is currently married to Lisa Bonet with two children named Lola Iolani and Nakoa-Wolf.

For "Aquaman" to be really successful, one element that almost all superhero movies have must be present and that is an excellent villain. Orm or Ocean Master is the human half-brother of Aquaman and has the plan to take over the throne of his brother by creating problems in high seas. The actor that will play the role is Patrick Wilson and the actor admitted how excited he is in playing the role. He also believes that the "Aquaman" movie have something good, an overwhelming potential that rooted from the new territory the movie can explore.

The "Aquaman" cast aside from Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson will also star Amber Heard as Mera and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko. The King of Atlantis will be in between the land and the revolting seas he rules. "Aquaman" movie will hit the theaters in the coming July 2018.
