"Supergirl" Season 2 is a month away from now but fans can't just wait for its new episode so we have here some new spoilers to hopefully ease fans' excitement. Are you ready for a big revelation from "Supergirl" Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg? If so, please continue reading below.

A recent interview conducted by Entertainment Weekly with Kreisberg teased that Mon-El is definitely keeping a secret. "Secrets are never healthy in a relationship and obviously Mon-El is holding onto something," Kreisberg revealed. That said, it can be suggested that Kara may be affected by whatever Mon-El is hiding, whether big or small.

The executive producer also explained that the alien from Daxam might be keeping the real story about what happened on his own planet. "We got a little taste that his life on Daxam might not be as over as we think from the glimpse of the space farers, who are on the hunt for him. So it will definitely play a big part in their relationship moving forward," added Kreisberg.

As it seems, previous speculations that Mon-El is lying about his past may prove true as Season 2 of "Supergirl" returns next year. In an earlier report from News Everyday, it was hinted that the Daxam alien may not be telling the complete truth about why he had to leave the planet. Why did Mon-El lie about the reason for his departure?

Fan theories surfaced stating that Mon-El is the real prince of Daxam which may also explain why some alien organization is hunting him. But when Kreisberg was asked by Entertainment Weekly about this, the executive producer chose not to comment. Based on his reaction, there could be some truth to the theory as well that's why Kreisberg held back, don't you think?

"Supergirl" Season 2 will air its ninth episode on Jan. 23, 2017. For now, fans can only theorize on how the story would pick up after the events of the midseason finale. For now, let us know your thoughts about Mon-El's real identity by dropping a comment below.
