"Final Fantasy XV' will release 2 holiday update this year and the second one will include unique items, new outfits and a carnival event while the first update is a free DLC that also includes new items and outfits. The expansion pack is scheduled for release on December 22.

"Final Fantasy XV" Free Holiday Update DLC

According to reports, the first version will be offered for free so all players can download. The update include items like sheet music scroll called Warrior's Fanfare that lets players gain more AP when scored A+ through an offense when in battle, Nixperience Band that allows players to have more challenge, a ticket to the Carnival that warps players to the Moogle Chocobo carnival event happening only until the end of January and the limited edition Choco-Mot Tee t-shirt.

"Final Fantasy XV" DLC For Premium Players And Season Pass Holders

For the second expansion pack, only players with "Final Fantasy XV" digital premium access can download it and those who bought the season pass which costs $25. This pack includes the Ring of Resistance, Tech Turbocharger, Armiger Accelerator, Blitzer's Fanfare, Tactician's Fanfare, and much more. For the Carnival event, this update will also include the Carnival Passport, Festive ensemble, and exclusive Photo Frames.

From all the new items included in this upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" update, the Ring of Resistance is probably one of the must-haves. This item effectively protects everyone in the group from any magical friendly fire. Next to it is the Key of Prosperity, that greatly increases the chance of any enemy dropping rare items, and the Stamina Badge, that allows Noctis to go anywhere he likes through sprinting without draining his stamina.

Details about the "Final Fantasy XV" Carnival event is not yet released but should be announced anytime soon because the update will arrive in a few days from now.
