"Five Nights at Freddy's" is the most popular horror-survival game today. "FNAF" fans are eagerly waiting for its film adaptation to see the animatronics in the big screens. However, reports have it that the film is on hold but a dark ride is in the works.

New sources claim that the production of the anticipated "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie is on hold. However, they did not provide a reason for the delay. Scott Cawthon already announced the film has received a green light and that everyone involved is taking their roles seriously.

The "FNAF" film is already in production but only a few details is confirmed. For instance, it has been confirmed that the "Monster House" and "Scream" director Gil Kenan will help the "Five Nights At Freddy's" movie. In fact, Kenan shared a photo of an animatronics head.

In the said photo, he puts his fingers on the mouth of the animatronics and captioned it with "watch that thumb." This triggers the reports that the anticipated film will include the "Bite of 87" lore where one animatronics bit the head of a child.

In one thread from Steam Community, one "FNAF" fan suggests that Chris Pratt [as Mike Schmidt], Bill Murray [as Freddy Fazbear], Frank Welker [as Bonnie], Alison Brie [as Chica], Nick Offerman [as Foxy] and Luke Hawker [Golden Freddy] should join the film. However, at the time the cast remains unknown. The list above might or might not happen.

On a side note, Sally Corporation is working on another "FNAF" attraction, the "Five Nights at Freddy's - The Ride." Per Attractions Magazine, the real-time and multi-players version of "FNAF" is a combination of the dark ride mixes gaming, animatronics, large scale video projection, special effects and immersive sets and scenery.

At the time, the "FNAF" ride remains a concept as no theme park has purchased it yet. However, there is no doubt that this will be a good attraction and visitors will surely love it.
