R&B singer Cee Lo Green confirmed that he is in good condition after his phone exploded while he is calling. A video of him exploded by his phone while using it went viral on social media.

The Forget You singer said to his fans to calm down after they speculated that he suffered from a serious injury after a video footage went viral on the internetIn the video, Cee Lo was calling someone on the phone when it exploded, emitting smoke after it ignited on his face. He was seen collapsing after the explosion.

In the video he posted on Facebook, he said that he is alive and well. He also apologized to people who had been emotionally disturbed of what they saw on the circulating video. Cee Lo added that he wants to thank everyone for the love, support and concern as he had a difficult day dealing with the current situation.

In the video, he also did not appear to be hurt but he did not also confirm if the video is authentic or staged. Cee Lo said the footage was filmed for his new music project. The video went viral on various social media this Saturday after gossip site MediaTakeOut published it. MediaTakeOut has still not reveal how they obtained the footage.

It is still unclear when the incident happened because the absence on the surveillance footage has no timestamp. The 42-year-old singer's colleagues raised their concerns on Cee Lo's status. Fellow R&B artist Omarion tweeted to Cee Lo that he sent prayers for his friend.
