A recent report from the Wall Street Journal indicates that the Apple iPhone 8 is coming in 2017. There were rumors that the Cupertino-based company is gearing for another device launch in time for its 10th year anniversary. A new redesigned iPhone is probably in the offing.

The Apple iPhone 8 May Have A Fingerprint Sensor

It is highly possible that the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 will be equipped with an OLED display. Most likely, the device won't have any home button. It is also very likely that the upcoming gadget will introduce the fingerprint sensor on its screen, and wireless charging. Apple is also rumored to unveil an intriguing feature for the device, but that is still uncertain at this time.

Rumors also say that the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 will have a 10-nanometer A11 chip. This will make the device more efficient and faster. Some say the device will also have biometric features such as a facial or iris scanning. There will also be some higher-end variants that may come with dual lenses, where both lenses are equipped with optical image stabilization.

Apple Is Rumored To Launch Three iPhone Models Next Year

The Cupertino-based tech giant is rumored to be positioning the Apple iPhone 8 on the "Premium" market. There are rumors that it will be marketed alongside iPhone models with flat displays of 4.7, 5 and 5.5 inches. However, there are still no details provided by the computer giant as to the configuration, size and types of materials the upcoming device will be made of.

Another report from Nikkei has revealed that the tech giant is thinking of launching three Apple iPhone models next year. According to this report, there will be a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch unit that will support conventional systems. A third one will be a 5.5-inch unit that will assume the curved edge style. This third one is rumored to be the Apple iPhone 8.
