A new trailer has been released for "Friday The 13th: The Game" and it reveals that the first ever Jason Slayer Tommy Jarvis will be part of the game. Tommy is expected to be a playable character in the upcoming game and will be portrayed by Thom Mathews.

Developers of the upcoming addition to the horror franchise "Friday The 13th: The Game" have confirmed that Tommy Jarvis will be part of the upcoming game. Fans might remember Tommy from "Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter" as the child who was able to successfully kill Jason Vorhees. Eventually, Jason rose from the dead and reunited with Tommy for another murder spree in "Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part VI."

According to Den Of The Geek, the older version of Tommy Jarvis from Part VI will be a playable character in "Friday The 13th Game" with the original actor from the movie, Thom Mathews. The developers of the multiplayer slasher game have yet to reveal Tommy Jarvis' role in the game. It is possible he is either a protagonist in the story of the game, or merely playable character that would require the purchase of a DLC.

Game Spot reported that "Friday The 13th Game" will feature Tommy Jarvis as the one to assist the counselors as they attempt to keep their heads on their shoulders in Camp Crystal Lake. The trailer featuring Jarvis is rather comical and gruesome at the same time, Jarvis even taunts Jason calling him "maggot head!"

Moreover, "Friday The 13th The Game" release date was initially in fall 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, the release date has been delayed to 2017 in order to give the developers time to create a single-player campaign. Stay tuned to News Everyday for more updates on your favorite games.
