"Girl Meets World" is one of the most popular and well-received TV series from Disney. Unfortunately, the show is bidding goodbye for good soon as they are rumored to be in their final season.

A number of "GMW" fans and even stars have called out Disney to renew "Girl Meets World" Season 4. News Everyday previously reported that August Maturo and Cheryl Texiera have called the network to give them another season. Unfortunately, their pleas fall on deaf ears. Reports are rife that season 3 is the show's last run, so fans should not expect for more.

After gracing the small screens for over two years, "Girl Meets World" the cast and crew have become a family. Unfortunately, chances are slim that they will still be working again for another run. In fact, some "GMW" stars seem to suggest that they are already moving on.

TV Line reported that Rowan Blanchard's controversial post seems to confirm that the show is in its final run. On her Twitter account, the "Girl Meets World" star wrote, "Filming tonight's episode was very emotional for all of us, so thank you to all of you who came and stuck with us." She added that she won't forget her "GMW" family.

In a separate post from Uriah Shelton, who plays Blanchard's uncle in the sitcom wrote, "Thanks guys. I'm going to miss you." Shelton is proud to be part of something that has been special to so many people.

These words suggest that there is no new season after its current run. Meanwhile, don't be sad because the schedule for its remaining episodes is already announced. Yahoo! TV reported that "Girl Meets World" will return on Jan. 6 and 13. Its final episode titled "Girl Meets Goodbye" will air on Jan. 20. The finale is expected to feature the grandest reunion of the original "Boy Meets World" cast.

On the other hand, Sabrina Carpenter who plays Maya Hart, Riley's best friend on the series teases that the last episodes are incredible. She's also uncertain of the show's future but thanks their fans for supporting the series, M Magazine reported.
