Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield continue to make a lot of fans swoon over their relationship despite their breakup in October 2015. The 33-year-old actor gushed about his ex-girlfriend and called her the "greatest." Is he hinting on a reunion with the "La La Land" actress?

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone recently reunited at the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles. While the former couple attended the event separately, many fans could not help but be excited over the fact that they are sharing the same space at the same time.

During the said event, the "Spider-Man" actor was asked about his thoughts on his ex-girlfriend. According to E! News, Garfield was quick to explain his answer about going on a stranded island with Stone.

Garfield said that there is nothing wrong with choosing Stone, especially because she is the "greatest." This made a lot of fans excited since there still seems to be some hope for the couple to get back together.

It can be recalled that Stone and Garfield met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man;" however, the couple parted ways after being in a relationship for three years. As People reports, the former couple was recently spotted together in London just days after Garfield celebrated his birthday.

This sparked reunion rumors between Garfield and Stone, but sources close to the couple shared that they are just friends. Both Stone and Garfield have also been vocal about their relationship following their breakup.

Stone explained that Garfield will always be someone special and dear to her. Garfield, on the other hand, said that he will always love his ex-girlfriend and former "Spider-Man" co-star.
