'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News, & Update: Game To Be Announced At Jump Fiesta 2016; 'Star Wars' And 'Marvel' Worlds Added!

Fans are keeping their fingers crossed since Square Enix has confirmed their attendance at Jump Festa 2016. The praise-worthy game developer's presence in the said event may mean that fans will get more details on "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Jump Festa 2016 will take place on December 17-18 and Square Enix has confirmed that they will attend the event, sparking speculations that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be finally be announced. Fans can finally get more details on the highly-anticipated game, with high hopes that it will be the next title released by the game developers following "Final Fantasy XV."

According to Game N Guide, Square Enix is currently working on "Dragon Quest" and "Kingdom Hearts" game titles now that "Final Fantasy" is already out and enjoyed by fans. "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix" and the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue" are pretty much confirmed by the developers, while word on "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still rather vague, hopefully, the upcoming Jump Festa 2016 event will change that.

So far, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to include new worlds and characters, including the likes of "Star Wars" and "Marvel" worlds. Yibada reports that Square Enix is promising that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will have a significantly better gameplay because of the new Disney worlds featured within the KH universe.

Moreover, three Disney worlds already have their spot in "Kingdom Hearts 3," namely "Big Hero 6," "Hercules," and "Tangled." In addition, there are titles that are hinted to have worlds in the upcoming KH installment such as "Brave," "Frozen," "The Jungle Book," "Toy Story," and more. As if all that weren't enough to stir up the excitement in fans, Tai Yasue, the game's co-creator even teased that Sora will meet friends from "Star Wars" and "Marvel Universe."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" definitely has maintained the hype despite the lack of official announcements from Square Enix. There is even word that the game will be made available for PC as well since the company has been observed bringing their games to PC.
