Game developer id Software has suffered from an identity crisis several years back which caused a slow pace for some of their popular game titles. Thankfully, the said crisis has been thwarted and the developers are back in action, their first course of action would be the revival of "DOOM."

The revival of the "DOOM" franchise seems like a far away dream for some, considering the track record the developer has. Particularly, when "DOOM 3" and "Quake 4" marked the beginning of company's hiatus-like state, followed by being purchased by Zenimax.

As a result, the gaming industry started to overlook id Software as if it was a thing of the past, the same for all the glory the company has attained, all in the past. However, Game N Guide reports that things are looking bright for the said company with the release of the new "DOOM" installment. Moreover, a few videos featuring the phases of the game's development was also released, effectively portraying the hardships the team went through to make revival possible.
