‘Dota 2’ Latest News: 7.00 Update Brings New Characters, Refreshed HUD, Refined Map; Respawn Timer Decreased, Check Latest Features Here

The new "Dota 2" 7.00 update has been released and some fresh features have been added to the game. The new update carried a new hero called Monkey King, a redesigned HUD as well as a new map. The "Dota 2" update is said to be the biggest one to be released by game developer Valve as per Kotaku. It brought the newest hero Monkey King which is based on the character of Sun Wukong, a mythological character from the Song dynasty. Monkey King has a couple of abilities, including jumping from trees to disguising himself as protection from enemies.

"Dota 2's" HUD also received a fresh look to redefine the map, hero console, the shop and the top bar. Players are now presented with options on what perk to choose as they reach the 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th level. Apart from HUD, the map was also redesigned, making a difference in Roshan's moves, Gamespot reported.

Roshan can now walk from his spot to another near the power-up rune and also gained armor and attack range but lost some health. Additionally, there was an alteration done on how players can gain experience and gold. There was also a decrease on respawn timer and a change applied on how players can level up.

It is also important to mention that some "Dota 2" heroes were redesigned and some other improvements were implemented. The "Dota 2" 7.00 update is expected to be over 6GB because of the massive content included inside.
