Wondering how cool it would have been had Empress Emily Kaldwin also has access on Royal Protector Corvo Attano's powerful abilities, and vice versa? Then it's good thing, "Dishonored 2" developer Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks have your best interest in mind.

The first free major update for "Dishonored 2" will be launched this coming Dec. 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC. This will include the New Game Plus Mode where your chosen character will now be able to perform the abilities of both the lead protagonists.

And, for those who just couldn't wait any longer, you can try the "Dishonored 2" game via the beta version on PC, which is now readily available.

Unlock The Power of Both Main Characters Into One

"Dishonored players have asked for it, so now New Game Plus is here for Dishonored 2," according to game designer and "Dishonored 2" Director Harvey Smith via a Bethesda news release.. "If you've ever wanted to make higher-powered characters, now's your chance. If you've wanted to play Emily Kaldwin with Possession or Devouring Swarm, or Corvo Attano with Domino, now you can. We've been having fun with it here at Arkane Studios, and we hope you will too."

The "Dishonored 2" New Game Plus Mode can be unlocked once the gamer was able to successfully finish the game, GameSpot also reported. You can then choose either one of the characters and have access to the abilities of both Emily and Corvo. And to top it up, you'll retain all the Runes and Bonecharm Traits from the previous game, and have the option to re-assign these Runes to have the powers of your choice.

Game Update 1 Patch Notes & Game Update 2 Release

Apart from the New Game Plus mode and a new Quick-Access Wheel option for hiding or unhiding items, other updates were made on "Dishonored 2" for better performance. These include fixes made on different Bonecharm effects and other gameplay enhancements. Fixes were also done on AI and User Interface issues, according to the developer.

The Game Update 2, on the one hand, will go live this coming January, 2017. The second free update will add a couple of new features, the Mission Select and additional Custom Difficulty Settings. Tune in for more details and updates.
