Aside from catching hundreds of Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon", there are also special Pokemon in the game that players can catch. Some are acquired in the wilds while some are through fossils like the Pokemon Shieldon and its evolve Bastiodon. And this article will serve as a guide for players on the hunt for this Fossil Pokemon.

Where to Get Shieldon Fossil?

Unlike the previous Pokemon games where players will have to go inside deep dark dungeons to find a fossil, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" changed that to simply purchasing one from a store. All the player needs to do is go with the game's story and wait until they finally have access to Konikoni City. In this city, players will find a stone shop where an old woman is selling special kinds of stones.

How to Get Shieldon for "Pokemon Sun" players?

The old lady will tell the player that they can only purchase one stone but she actually means one fossil stone for each variant. For "Pokemon Sun" players, they can purchase the Skull and Cover Fossil while Moon players will get the Plume and Armor Fossil. To get Shieldon, players will need the Armor fossil from "Pokemon Moon". For Sun players, just make a trade of the fossil from Moon players.

How to Turn the Fossil to Shieldon?

To turn the fossil to a real Pokemon, players just need to go to Route 8 and go straight until they reach the forest. A guy in a van should be in the area and will offer to revive any fossil to a Pokemon. The man looks like he can't be trusted but he will really do the job. From here, all that's left to do is to level up Shieldon and evolve it to a Bastiodon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"
