Niantic Inc. recently released its latest update patch for “Pokemon GO” revealing a lot of pocket monsters to look for and catch. It has introduced familiar baby pocket monsters to add to the current roster of “Pokemon” in the said application game. But it seems like not everyone is happy with the new update.

A lot were psyched that the popular mobile application game was finally getting a new update since the last one was probably several months ago. The update was highly anticipated as it only not fixed bugs but unleashed new pocket monsters. Those loyal to the “Pokemon GO” application has voiced out their satisfaction and are content with what they have been bestowed.

But an even more lot are voicing out their disappointment over the new update. With all the hype Niantic Inc. built up, they expected that the developer would release legendary pocket monsters such as Mewtwo and Mew. But though the new Gen 2 did launch new pocket monsters, they were not exactly the kinds they were looking forward to.

Aside from that, getting such new pocket monsters through limited means have also frustrated many. Niantic Inc. released new pocket monsters that can only be obtained through hatching eggs. And these eggs can only be acquired through pokestops, which is clearly a strategy to promote the new collaboration Niantic Inc. formed with Sprint and Starbucks for the new “Pokemon GO” update.

Random pocket monsters hatch from eggs and there is no guarantee that users can pick up new pocket monsters eggs all the time. These new pocket monsters initiate from baby stages and then evolve to stronger pocket monsters that are actually already available in the game. Only Togepi, one of the new additions, is the pocket monster that has no evolved form. Millions of users around the world are hoping that Niantic will release another update soon to make up for the sorry Gen 2 it has launched because it just isn’t enough to keep users interested and playing.
