"Rick and Morty" has been on hiatus for months already. Every fan is waiting for its third installment and new reports point to a Christmas premiere. In addition, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will include 19 episodes.

"Rick and Morty" the popular science fiction sitcom from Adult Swim is one of the favorite animated series today. Fans have been waiting for its return and due to the long wait, there are speculations that the series was already canceled. However, don't worry because the third season is happening and reports are rife that Rick and Morty with the rest of the gang will return before the year ends.

"Rick and Morty" creator Justin Roiland admits that he was blown away with the success of his animated TV series that he wants to continue the characters' adventures, Den of Geek reported. Dan Harmon also teases that their show is one of the exclusive club shows with over 19 episodes.

This triggers the reports that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will come with 19 episodes. Though the network has not confirmed this, it will surely be a great treat to its waiting fans. Meanwhile,

Movie News Guide reported that a photo of the animated series leaked and it is pointing to a Christmas premiere. The photo features a Christmas village with Santa, a reindeer and a candy cane.

However, before you get too excited a Reddit thread suggests that the photo was the opening episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 1 Episode "Anatomy Park". Fans have different takes about the Christmas premiere. One thinks that it is unlikely since only a few watches TV on the said date. However, other think that if the new season is indeed coming on Christmas it will be a great present.
