Snapchat may have seen you struggling on sending one snap or message to some of your friends. Now, the social media platform has just introduced a new update to make your life easier with its new group feature-group chat.

Coming from the words themselves, Snapchat's new feature will let users chat with their friends of up to 16 people. This Group feature, according to The Verge, changes the game by letting you and your friends chat and share media within your circle of friends.

And just like how it already is in the social media platform, group chats are not really for sentimental people; since it will self destruct after 24 hours as default. The tech news site also added that snaps that will be shared in the group chat can only be replayed by a member once.

Tech Crunch also reports that the new Snapchat update will let users send private messages to a person in the group chat. The user would just have to simply tap on a friend's name (as long as the user is shown active), and the app will let the user have a personal conversation with a friend. Aside from this feature, Group Chats will still support and have the same old features the regular chat has.

A user can start a group chat by going to Chat, and tap that upper left button to start a new conversation. The user may then add up to 16 friends to the conversation, as instructed by Daily Mail.

Aside from the new group chat feature which was announced by the social media platform on Tuesday, another feature has also been added which will allow users to customize stickers made from cut-out photos. Snaps may also be personalized by using a paintbrush which should allow users to edit photos by themselves, and share it to friends and family members.
