The commerce and cloud computing company Amazon.com and the privately funded aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight services Blue Origin have one thing in common, and that is their founder Jeff Bezos. The technology Entrepreneur and philanthropist Bezos was awarded Heinlein Prize for Advance in Space Commercialization which he earned $250,000 last September. He later donated the prize money to the students for the exploration and development of Space.

In October 2016, Bezos was ranked by Forbes as the third wealthiest person in the world with the estimated net worth of $72 billion. He was also the second on the list of best CEO in the world, conducted by Harvard Business Review after Apple's late Steve Jobs.

Last Thursday, Smithsonian Magazine American Ingenuity Awarding was held. One of the deserving honorees was Jeff Bezos who received the award for technology. According to The Verge, the award was presented from his Blue Origin's endeavor in producing a reusable rocket. It was another great night for Bezos to celebrate. Later on that night, Jeff received another unforgettable and touching reward which is a letter from the first man to orbit the earth, John Glenn.  The letter was originally made on November 28 and was presented in a frame by the first African American woman in Space, Mae Jemison, during the awards night. The astronaut was to attend the same event but was not able to, due to his health condition. That is also the same day Glenn passed away.

Jemison read the letter in front of the guests which Glenn expresses how proud he is of Bezos achievements and how he visions the future. Glenn was also thankful and was touched from Bezos announcement of the next generation Blue Origin Rocket will be named after him as, "New Glenn", which is, according to Bezos, is his idol ever since he was young.
