The popular zombie survival game "State Of Decay 2" has its fans eagerly waiting for its release since Undead Labs announced the sequel during E3 2016. Little details about the upcoming game were spared, however, the developers boast a larger open world.

On June 13, 2016, at the Microsoft E3 2016 event, Undead Labs unveiled the sequel to the popular zombie apocalypse survival game "State Of Decay 2." The upcoming game is said to maintain its open world gameplay, which offered a sense of uniqueness as compared to games of the same theme.

According to Game N Guide, Jeff Strain, CEO at Undead Labs and the design director Richard Forge released new concept art and answered some question regarding the upcoming game sequel "State Of Decay 2." According to the developers, the sequel will be able to handle up to four players in co-op mode.

Moreover, several reports claim that "State Of Decay 2" is proud to unleash a large open world where players can battle the undead alongside their friends. The town will be significantly bigger as well as the playable area in total. It is worth mentioning, however, that the developers have yet to reveal specific details regarding the map size, number of maps, the regions of the game as well as the playable area. All that was teased is that it will be a whole lot bigger as compared to the original game.

Undead Labs told IGN that players can freely wreak havoc are stealthy venture out into the open world of "State Of Decay 2." Players are free to split up their team and cover more ground or stick together for a solidified defense against the hordes of undead. However, there is a limit to the large open world "State Of Decay" has.

Apparently, PVP won't be possible in "State Of Decay 2" because a sudden clash between players can cause problems for other people playing in the open world. For instance, a surprise squabble between to players who decide to best each other by open firing or whatnot would cause too much noise. Noise would result in zombie aggression which other players will have to deal with as well when the gluttonous piles of rotting flesh come hoarding at them.

"State Of Decay 2" definitely boasts a unique gameplay where players are challenged to survive as a team in an open world chalk full of the undead. Undead Labs will publish the game with Microsoft Studios and fans can expect the game to be out by 2017 exclusively on Xbox One and PC.
