PlayStation Store Sends Out $100 ‘Golden Ticket’ To Lucky Users

Like that of "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory," Sony is working on bringing people's favorite movie in action. Sony is giving 100 golden tickets with $100 vouchers in their promotional campaign in which subscribers to the PlayStations newsletter will receive one-use 20% off coupon code.

Power Up Gaming reports the selected users who will be randomly chosen will get a golden ticket which equates a $100 card for use on the PlayStation Store. These tickets have a voucher code and can be used on most of the products in PlayStation's online store including PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games. What a thoughtful gift from Sony right before Christmas, it's like an early Christmas gift to the faithful users. The golden tickets expire on December 19.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Sony started giving the golden tickets with a voucher of $100 to random users who subscribed to PlayStation Newsletter just a couple of weeks ago. With these golden tickets, users will get $100 in PlayStation credit and can buy almost everything In PlayStation Online Store including PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games among other thing Sony offers on sale. But, this offer is only for US subscribers, but don't get disappointed right away, one can be an exception and will receive Sony's golden ticket.

In an article by Time, PlayStation 4 passed its last major milestone 40 million units sold back in May. PS 4 is also included in the golden ticket sale, with this ticket the lucky user can get a $100 voucher and use it to buy PS4, PS3, or PS Vita Games, among other things PlayStation Online Store offers. PlayStation 4 in May was sold to 50 million buyers, not retailers which make it the biggest Sony's success. Sony has sold 370 million physical and digital software, and the sale both include PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro systems.
