Unfortunately for the viewers, the elephant in the room was not addressed. Silicon Valley and Office Christmas Party star T.J. Miller did not address his earlier altercation with a driver at his hosting stint at the 22nd Critics Choice Award.

When he hosted the event he talked about the recent US elections and the recent news about the involvement of Russians. With more jokes, he said he is going to address the "elephant in the room". The Office Christmas Party and Silicon Valley star said in his tweet that he is going to adress the incident.

Last Saturday, Miller was arrested in Los Angeles early Friday morning after an altercation with a hired driver, had his hosting gig at the Critics' Choice Awards last night.  But when he is going to open about the real elephant in the room, he said that "tonight... is the 31st anniversary of classic Broadway musical A Chorus Line".

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) confirmed Miller's participation in the ceremony as the host. Joey Berlin, BFCA president and exec producer of the awards. In addition, Miller was also up for the Best Supporting Actor in Comedy category.

Miller was arrested Friday at one in the morning after a car service driver accused him of battery. The comedian was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in court on January 9 next year. The 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards gala was set for a live broadcast on A&E from Santa Monica's Barker Hangar at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. The awards ceremony is presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association.

Gossip site TMZ has reported that the brief altercation occurred following an argument between Miller and the driver over President-elect Donald Trump. The driver told police Miller slapped his head before exiting the car.

If this is confirmed to be true, this is the second recent Silicon Valley cast members to be involved Trump-related altercation. Last November, Silicon Valley stars Kumail Nanjiani and Thomas Middleditch reported that they were harassed at a bar by Trump supporters who were against to the actors' anti-Trump tweets.
