Belfie stick, like a selfie stick, helps you capture photos of the butt. Yes, it's a thing.

Selfie sticks were a thing in 2014 - devices that clamp to smartphone enhancing self-portraiture. But 2015 is going to be all about Belfie Sticks.

Apparently, taking pictures of the butt is a difficult art (celebrities like Kim Kardashian excel at it), but thanks to the innovative company that has invented Belfie sticks to streamline the process, making things easier for everyone else.

The device is a brainchild of ON.com, - a photo-based social media site.

"Our users are our biggest indicator of selfie trends being that it's the type of photo they post most often," said ON.com's CTO Kevin Deegan to Business Insider. "We've noticed a huge spike in users taking butt selfies in recent months so the natural next step was for us to develop a device to assist our users in taking one."

The term 'Belfie' has been coined by Kim Kardashian and the pose is favored by celebrities like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Heidi Klum, and Nicki Minaj.

The Belfie stick is out of stock right now, but of course you can preorder it for $79.99.

Oh boy!
