Hollywood stars Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child together in December. Since giving birth, the "Gossip Girl" alum calls entering motherhood the "happiest time of [her] life."

"[I've] always felt like a mama. I don't feel like it's a massive change," Lively, 27, said according to PEOPLE. "This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day. I often feel like, 'I can't believe I'm experiencing this.'"

According to a source reported by US Weekly, the baby came earlier than expected but both mother and child are healthy. Although the couple has not confirmed the sex of their baby, several sources are reporting that they welcomed a baby girl.

A tweet supposedly written by an employee at Westchester Medical Center acknowledged the couple's newborn as Violet. The tweet has since been deleted and the couple did not confirm whether or not they named their child Violet.

Even though Lively and Reynolds, 38, just welcomed a newborn into their lives, the actress talked about adding another one soon.

She said, "I do want to just enjoy this moment. But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year. I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter.

Lively is the youngest of five children. She and Reynolds got married in 2012. She announced her pregnancy in October via her website, Preserve, which she founded.

Lively was just named to Forbes's 30 Under 30 list. She can be seen in the upcoming period drama, The Age of Adaline.
