Just recently, a big news shocked the 90s kids: "Dawson's Creek" will get a revival season. However, the excitement seemed to be cut short.

Last Tuesday (November 6), Katie Holmes graced an interview with Jenny Hut of "Just Jenny Show". There, the actress revealed that there's certainly no "Dawson's Creek" reunion to happen soon. When Jenny asked Katie about a possible "Dawson's Creek" revival or reunion after they talked about Holmes' recent directing project with Marion Cotillard, Al Pacino, among others, she straightforwardly answered Jenny with "I don't think we're going to do a reunion" remark.

To recall, "Dawson's Creek" was a big hit back in 1998. Since then, James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams, and the other members of the cast have been known for their unique participation in the teen drama series. Up until today, these stars cannot get the "Dawson's Creek" tag off their foreheads. That's why, a "Dawson's Creek" reunion rumor made all the fans around the world squeal with excitement and hope.

Aside from the fact that they have all matured from their looks back in 1998, Katie reminisced how special those years were for her. "We did grow up, but we see each other every now and then. I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson's writing and it was of that time and it gave teenagers this voice. It was a very, very special time - a special show and I loved every minute of it," Holmes recalled.

Meanwhile, the possibility of a "Dawson's Creek" reunion was also opened to Michelle Williams and all she could answer was "I would have to come back as a ghost - or put a lot of filters on the camera, and I'll do flashback scenes. I think it's a fun thing to sort of imagine. I like imagining it. But I haven't really heard anybody say anything like actually serious about that happening."

Despite Holmes' recent confirmation that there will be no "Dawson's Creek" reunion anytime soon, fans of the show were still thrilled to see that some members of the cast have somehow reunited in Matt Damon and Jeff Bezos' "Manchester By The Sea" Holiday Party in Los Angeles, California.
