"The Blacklist" Season 4 spoilers hint on the return of Katarina during the second half of the NBC drama. As seen in the midseason finale, fans were finally provided with the answer to the question of Liz's (Megan Boone) true father, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Yes, it definitely was not a surprise that Red was the father of Liz in "The Blacklist" Season 4. However, fans were left wondering what Red whispered to Kirk before the show came to an end.

Many viewers believe that Red said something about Katarina to Kirk during "The Blacklist" Season 4. This left many fans speculating that the second half of the season will be about Katarina, the fact that she is alive, and what her return means for the rest of the characters.

There are also rumors that Liz may be leaving "The Blacklist" Season 4 now that the NBC spinoff series, "The Blacklist: Redemption" has already scored a release date. According to TVGuide, the spinoff drama will be airing on Feb. 23.

"The Blacklist" spinoff series will focus on Tom Keen, which means that viewers will see less of him in the original series. This made a lot of fans wonder if Liz will also be following Tom in the show, but it looks like Liz will be staying in the parent show for the meantime, especially after that big reveal in the midseason finale.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 return date is on Apr. 20 on NBC.
