It's Christmas time on the midseason finale of The Vampire Diaries. No one could ruin the holiday like Damon Salvatore and Stefan will spend his last day of freedom with Caroline and things are going to be tough for them.

The  The Vampire Diaries episode titled The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You will feature how the Christmas Eve of Steline would be ruined by their visitors. How could they?

But first, that title of the episode. The Vampire Diaries fans will remember that it was the line Stefan said to Elena on episode 20 of season one. Stefan was trying to convince her that he is a dangerous man. Wait, is he going to do the same thing in this episode?

Knowing that it would be their last day ever, Caroline prepared for this day but then, when Salvatore is in the house, every one knows trouble is on its wayShe accommodated Alaric, their daughters, Matt, and Peter in her home. It was supposed to be a fine day but then, someone crashed the party.

Damon and Sybil show up at the Christmas Eve dinners. Fans remember that Damon was killed by Alaric last week. Caroline is really stressed about it. As she drinks straight from the wine bottle, she said: "Well, Damon's alive and Stefan's dead! I've got gifts". It may look like Damon is about to murder some of her guests.

In a series of flashbacks to Stefan's past, Cade attempted to lure him with some mysterious agenda that left Stefan faced with a very hard decision. What would he do? Serving as the midseason finale of the eighth series, this episode of The Vampire Diaries could be a cliffhanger for fans.  The Vampire Diaries will go on hiatus for the holidays so it could mean big.
