ShellIn "Pokemon Sun and Moon", players can find a rare item called Mega Stones that unleashes the hidden power of a Pokemon. And to activate these stones, trainers must have a Mega Ring. So this guide will help players find exactly where the Mega Stone and Mega Ring is in the game.

Where is the Mega Ring in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"?

Mega Ring can be acquired in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" when the player has defeated the Elite Four and has become the lone champion of Alola Region. If that is already done, trainers just need to go to Poni Island and head to the northern side of the island. Players should find a Battle Tree in the area but will be interrupted by Sina and Dexio. They will talk about finding the Zygarde Cells but players can talk to them again to discuss the Mega Evolutions.

Dexio will challenge the trainer with a battle and defeating him will give the player the Mega Ring. The trainer will also receive an Alakazamite that unlocks the Mega Evolution of Alakazam.

Where to Get the Mega Stones in the Game?

The only place where the Mega Stones can be found in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is in Battle Tree's shops. After acquiring the Mega Ring from Sina and Dexio, trainers shouldn't be too far away from the place. There should be three ladies selling items in exchange for Battle Points and the rightmost lady is the one selling Mega Stones. For 64 Battle Points, players can get the Mega Stones.

Not all the Mega Stones are sold in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Battle Tree. As of today, the only Mega Stones available in this place are for Aerodactylite, Absolite, Gengarite, Alakazite, Gyaradosite, Scizorite, Garchompite, Glaitite, Pinsirite, Kangaskhanite, Lucarionite, Metagrossite, Sablenite, Slowbronite, Sharpendonite, and Salamencite.
