"Injustice: Ground Zero" is expected to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in time before the first Justice League. As the continuation of the Injustice story, fans expect to witness a higher level of environmental interactions. However, with the upcoming release, it was announced that the famous character of Harley Quinn will take part in the comic book series "Injustice: Ground Zero" that is crucial for the story of the video game.

According to News Every Day, Ed Boon, the creator, and producer of "Injustice: Ground Zero" at NetherRealm Studios have teased recently that there might be an additional two characters that will be included in the game. He responded to a Twitter user who calls himself TrabucoTravado whether Firestorm will be added, Boon replied "Yes."

The first issue of the new comic series was released on Wednesday, December 7. It was written by Christopher Sebela and art was created by Pop Mhan. Harley Quinn's perspective is crucial as "Injustice: Ground Zero" will be told from her perspective.

Harley had put together a band named "The Joker Crew". Meanwhile, it was also reported that heroes of parallel Earth are approaching to end the reign of Superman. The upcoming comic series "Injustice: Ground Zero" was created to link the gap between the previous Injustice comic series and the new upcoming game, "Injustice 2." It aims to provide fans of the video gaming series a perspective as to where the "Injustice 2" is going to happen, according to GameSpot.

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" hype began when it became a massive success and widely popular across several platforms. Players can choose a variety of characters from the DC Comics including the major characters like Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman and villains like Atrocitus and the Gorilla Grodd. Some familiar battle scenes can also be expected such as Metropolis, Gotham City, and Atlantis, according to Cosmic Comic Book.

No further information was officially released since the first trailer of "Injustice: Ground Zero" was aired last June. However, the game is supposed to be released on March 17, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Meanwhile, an early gameplay footage is available. Check it out here.
