"Supernatural", one of the best long-running show was continually being aired and the latest episodes have shown some misdirection or no direction at all. The latest episode of Season 12, Episode 7, had let down some of the viewers.

The latest "Supernatural" episode had featured the new actor to play as the new vessel for Lucifer which is a big role. The role had landed to Rick Springfield who manages to bring the Lucifer edge nicely but it goes down after the initial presence. The goal to make his followers hurt themselves by digging into the Vincent Vicente life just sounded trivial.

The 'Rock Never Dies' Episode of "Supernatural" caused fans to compare the new version of Lucifer to the Lucifer who had Sam as the vessel. The Lucifer that time felt like a real threat like he is the villain of the whole series but now, the Lucifer of the series does not bring any excitement to the viewers and the showdown have brought nothing causing fans to show no enthusiasm about Lucifer. The Lucifer now with no plan seems not be scarier than the Lucifer with a plan.

The "Supernatural" new Lucifer, Rick Springfield, has narrated how he landed the role. Springfield has never seen the show but he knows that the show is doing something great that fans keep on watching it and is now on its 12th season. He was contacted, he read the first script and then he decided to do it. He even said that he as lord of Hell was naturally prepared to do it.

"Supernatural" writers had to work on something about the plan for Lucifer or anything about Dean and Sam has to face before the next episodes are to be labeled boring. On the other hand, the former production assistant, Jackson Stewart, had mentioned about a crossover  between "Supernatural" and "Smallville". The idea of the crossover is about the actors who plays Superman will end up getting killed which would compel the team to bring in Tom Welling from "Smallville" and he will be the next target and must be saved.

The series writers really have great ideas for the series but the one with "Smallville" was never made to be worked on and it was an idea found to be funny. The two show though had shared the same network but nevertheless, it's not really a crossover if ever it did happen. "Supernatural" writers must currently dwell now on what to do with Lucifer.
