Samsung is now accepting a wireless future. Users did not like the ditching of the headphone jack in iPhone 7 and now it seems that the trend may continue. The upcoming Galaxy S8 is expected to forgo the headphone jack along with the home button.

Samsung May Call The Upcoming Devices As Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

These variants would be the first Smartphones that Samsung will release after the Note 7 fiasco. It is almost sure that this South Korean based company is going to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack from the Galaxy S8, Mail Online reports. The tech giant wants everything right for the new release. Earlier the company used to boast of the headphone jack in comparison to Apple but it has now understood that technology is moving.

There Would Be No Audio Jack

Reports on Cnet suggest that in the absence of audio jack the owners of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be forced to listen to audio through headphones which are compatible with the phones USB Type-C port or Bluetooth headphones. The USB-C port will also help the users to charge the phone faster and they can transfer data quickly.

Other Features Of Galaxy S8

Screen resolution of this device would be 2k. As a result of AMOLED display material the screen quality would be better. But the phone will lose the home button. Apart from this, there would be an addition of an optical fingerprint scanner and the screen to body ratio would be higher.

While removing the headphone jack Samsung might use this space to make a bigger battery or thinner phone. The only drawback in this Smartphone is that the Android users won't be able to plug the headphones and the charger at the same time. There might be an integration of loud front facing stereo speakers in the handset.
