One of the most awaited Microsoft game releases Crackdown 3 confirms delay due to certain reasons. Microsoft assured that Crackdown 3 will be released during the holiday of 2017 or earlier. But, what should fans expect with the upcoming game?

Crackdown 3 being delayed is probably the worst feeling on earth. But, Microsoft confirms that it's for good reasons. Although there are some frustrations since the game was earlier leaked to be released by 2016, Microsoft shared their sentiments towards the delay. According to Dave Jones, Regeant Games creative director, the main goal of the team is to provide gamers the best experience when playing Crackdown 3.

Jones stated that "Crackdown 3 is a game built for the future with a multiplayer experience that will redefine what it feels like to play games, and as we continue to work on this, it has become clear that our original timeline of delivering multiplayer to fans this summer, while maintaining the size, scope, and quality of the game, would be challenging," according to Gamespot.

Microsoft also confirmed that Xbox Scorpio will run all games in 4K. Being said that, it confirms that Crackdown 3 will be running in 4K since the game release will be together with Xbox Scorpio's release.

Crackdown 3 will also be a part of Microsoft's new campaign Play Anywhere. The new campaign grants gamers full access to the game and the ability to play it on different platforms. Check out the full list of Play Anywhere games.

Furthermore, the company has not confirmed yet whether the release of Crackdown 3 will be multiplayer of a full game only. To recall, Microsoft previously announced to release Crackdown 3 multiplayer by 2016.
