The latest episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead" finally showed a glimmer of hope for both Rick's group of survivors and the fans. It was the "hell yeah" episode fans needed to see after all those long episodes.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 7 was one of the better episodes this season thus far. The episode titled "Sing Me A Song" did not just focus on one setting. Instead, it focused on different characters, settings, and storylines.

Despite the fact that the show's moving forward with a handful of different storylines, and it has improved a lot more since the previous episodes. Some fans and critics are still quick to express their negative thoughts.

This time, the focus of the hate and bashful comments was none other than the big bad himself: Negan. Indeed, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's portrayal of the foul-mouthed villain is such an amazing sight to see.

Several fans were quick to complain about his "wives", his harem, and the sexual jokes he made while talking to Carl (Chandler Riggs) - who's about 15 or 16 years old on the show. Critics were also not happy about the body-shaming jokes Negan made towards Olivia (Ann Mahoney).

If the hate is any indication, then this means that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is doing a great job getting people to despise his character. As for Negan's plans for the future, it seems like he is very interested in baby Judith.

While several fan speculations online suggest that Negan wants to kill Judith, this simply couldn't be true. In The Walking Dead comic series, Negan is very vocal about his stand against rape, abusing women both sexually and physically, and hurting children under a certain age.

This alone should debunk any myths going around that Negan thinks of bashing Judith's head in just to taunt Rick. Although it is highly possible that he's thinking of adopting Judith and bringing her back to the Sanctuary just to play with Rick.

During the course of the episode, fans also saw Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and heard him speak for the first time since "The Cell". This disproves the theory that Negan cut Daryl's tongue off.

Fans also found out the consequence Daryl had to face when he refused to be one of Negan's soldiers. He is now working as "the help", tending Negan's yard full of walkers, and attending to Negan's needs.

Daryl Dixon is back on protective mode, threatening Negan several times not to harm Carl. Negan has had enough of this and ordered Dwight (Austin Amelio) to put Daryl back in his cell.

Back in his cell, Daryl got a note that says "Go Now". It still remains a mystery on who passed Daryl the note. But that's a theory for another day.

The big question is whether Daryl did or did not take this opportunity to escape. For all he knows, it could be another trap set by Negan or one of his men.

One thing is for certain: Negan won't be killing off Daryl Dixon anytime soon. He wants the crossbow-yielding Dixon brother to be one his soldiers. It is highly possible that Daryl's death might come from another character - everybody dies on this show.
