Niantic's "Pokemon Go" remains to be one of the most popular games today. For those wondering how to use the latest tracker, this article will give you some tips and tricks to get the best out of the "Nearby" tracker.

After several months of testing Niantic finally released the new "Pokemon Go" tracker. Unfortunately, it was not so well-received and appears to be confusing because the developers removed the "Sightings" feature.

Per Kotaku, the new "Pokemon Go" tracker works. In fact, it gives the specific location of the Pokemon that one is trying to track.

The new tracker will list nine Pokemon nearby one's location. The list includes a photo of the Pokemon and the PokeStop closest to them.

One of the disadvantages though is that the "Nearby" tracker only shows the common Pokemon. However, "Pokemon Go" players should not be disheartened as the other monsters could just be spawning around the corner.

Next, if you want to catch a particular Pokemon, you can click on the PokeStop and it will show you some footprints indicating how close or far you are to the PokeStop. Once you are at the PokeStop just walk around until the Pokemon you are tracking appears and chuck Poke Balls.

For those who wish to find rare Pokemon, you can still use the proven-effective method, which is simply to wander around like what you did when there was no tracker to use.

Meanwhile, the developers announced on their website that they are still reviewing the feedbacks they received about the new "Pokemon Go" tracker. The team is open to making changes and fixes if necessary.

On a side note, players should be conscious of the PokeStops that they usually visit because per Tech Mic, there are certain PokeStops that tends to drop fewer or more 5km or 10km eggs. The only way to determine this is through observation. Thus, "Pokemon Go" players should be vigilant.
