Is Joker finally coming to the town of Gotham? Actor Cameron Monaghan is back at his teasing game with the fans and this time, the photos tease big things about his character, Jerome Valeska. Fans who saw the photo are quick to speculate about what it could mean for the series. It is obvious that Jerome is a homage to the Joker even though the show still does not reveal whether or not he is the clown menace.

Before his tweet was deleted, fans saw a photo of Monaghan's eyes with red circles, indicating that it can be either scars around his eyes or the placement of a fleshy mask. But if it is really him, he needs to be revived from being quite dead. If fans consider how things have went for Fish Mooney, that's not really one of the questions.

It is still unsure for the future of Gotham, particularly for Valeska. Monaghan and the team of Gotham seem quite content to keep the fans wait for the shocks and thrills. If they are going to refer to the new 52 comics universe, Dollmaker, a supervillain, who brutally removed the Joker's face. Later on, the Joker pinned it back over his facial wound that is still open.

The character of Dollmaker is already in the series. When he's not Dollmaker, he is Francis Dulmacher, played by Colm Feore. With this, the comic book version could possibly happen. At the same time, a villan that would already going to appear in the city could also play the role in the comics universe. Professor Pyg, a villain known for permanently attaching doll faces on his robotic henchmen called Dollatrons, could make Jerome turn into a Dollatron.

Gotham, a series about the city before Batman existed, is currently on midseason hiatus. The show will be back in January 2017 and it airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
