'Final Fantasy 15' Guide: How to Know Enemy Weakness

One of the best strategy when on a battle in "Final Fantasy 15" is identifying the enemy's weakness first. Once the weakness is known, the player will have a great advantage from its opponent and will know when and what is the best attack to do. And that is what this guide will explain step by step.

Step 1: Wait

The first and most important step in identifying the weakness of the enemy is to engage the wait mode. To do this, just turn on the game's wait mode in the combat options which will initiate a complete stand still in the combat.

Step 2: Choose a Target

Now as the player activate the wait mode in "Final Fantasy 15", their characters will stop moving and a timer will appear. All the player needs to do now is choose their target and start a research. The target should be locked and a small box will appear on the screen just like the small box that appears when Noct warps a target.

Step 3: Press and Hold R1 or RB

Then as the targets are locks, players need to press and hold the button for a wheel to appear on the screen. The wheel takes a bit of time to fill up especially when the opponent is stronger or bigger. When the wheel is full, players will get a list of weapons and attacks that hit the enemy's weakness giving the player a big advantage in "Final Fantasy 15" game. Weapons where the enemy is weak against will light up while those that will not do much damage will be grayed.
