Is CBS renewing "Criminal Minds" Season 13? The recent cast debacles in Season 12 affected the TV show's ratings. With Shemar Moore initially leaving the show and Thomas Gibson fired due to an altercation with writer-producer Virgil Williams, some fans want to boycott the series. But while there are some who snubbed the show altogether, there are others who remain loyal to the show.

In a table by Cancel Bear, "Criminal Minds" has a status of four bears, with 1.55 points of 18-49 rating, and a renew/cancel index of 0.85. While the "Criminal Minds" had already hit series lows two times in season 12 already, the analysis points to a possible renewal in this week's episode. The report says that despite the declining ratings of "Criminal Minds" CBS still has other shows to put out. Fans boycotting the show is hurting the series' ratings but still remains insignificant to put the show at risk.

"Criminal Minds" is rated 8.2 out of 10 according to IMDB, with user votes of 111,600 in total, and it has 170 viewer reviews and 43 critics' reviews. The score in TV.com shows an average of 8.8 out of 10 from more than 12,300 votes. When Season 12 aired, "Criminal Minds" hit around 8.924 million viewers, at 11.42 percent less than the previous season's premiere.

The cast changes don't just affect the audience but the remaining cast as well. In an interview with TV Guide, Aisha Tyler said that the changes in "Criminal Minds" series can be difficult to adjust to. But she adds that the team is working together despite the changes, reassuring that in the real world, people come and go, so they adjust. But even as they loved what they had before, they are also loving the environ of the show now.

"Criminal Minds" Season 12 airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on CBS.
