"Z Nation" Season 4 is set to return on Syfy. The third season is still ongoing but the network has already announced an additional season for the series.

It is reported that the show has been doing good in the ratings which is why it has to be renewed for a fourth season. "Z Nation" Season 4 is yet to have an official air date. The upcoming season of the series is going to have 13 episodes.

The series is created by Craig Engler and Karl Schaefer and is a story about a zombie virus that infects America. "Z Nation" starts after three years of the zombie virus spreading all over America. The groups of heroes in the show try to save the only survivor and transport them to the safest laboratory.

As the story goes on "Z Nation" becomes a challenge to Smith since the survivor Murphy (Keith Allen) gets to reveal the zombie-like attributes while he is being transported. The struggle for the team is to fight whatever comes their way since the virus has already spread over the place.

There are more challenges in the fourth season of "Z Nation." The latest episode of the series takes on how Doc (Russell Hudgkinson) can be strong in dealing with the zombies. The episode explores the events after the previous episode's get away.

Doc then splits up with Addy and goes to the radio tower in order to have their own radio recharged. Along the way, he meets three beautiful ladies luring him seductively in "Z Nation" Season 3 Episode 11. It turns out that these women are not survivors from the apocalypse but rather they are murderers.

These ladies chase Doc and he was able to escape with the help of some of the prisoners in the basement of the tower. These prisoners may have been captured by these ladies in "Z Nation" Season 3.

"Z Nation" Season 4 can be expected in 2017.
