It makes perfect sense that remaking "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl," the series' fourth generation video game, would be done in the next few years. The longest would probably be in 2019 considering the timelines of the previous remakes. As a result, fans of Pokemon all over the world are eager to gobble up any information about the future launch, gameplay elements, and anything that will give them clues that would tell them that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is coming.

A Very Persuasive Hint Given By The Company

In this regard, there is a very persuasive hint made available recently. It comes from a video that was uploaded on Nov. 14 in the Japanese YouTube channel of Pokemon.  This video was not available to English audiences so it escaped the notice of those in the West.

The video is somewhat strange because it was presented in a peculiar way than most of the other contents. Rather than being a film-type presentation, the video has more of the story-book style of presentation. The first few minutes of the video featured the cover of a Pokemon photo album. It could be easily compared to a Powerpoint presentation.

This Is What Made The Video Interesting

What made the video interesting are the Pokemons that were selected in the photo book. Almost all of the Pokemons belongs to the Sinnoh Pokemon. The three primary characters featured in the video are Chimchar, Piplup and Turtwig, which are known as the Sinnoh starters.

Before the story ended, they came across Ambipom, Buizel, Munchlax, Pachirisu, and Buneary. All of them were introduced in "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl." Is there a reason why the Pokemon Company featured these Sinnoh starters in their recent promotional video? Perhaps they are hyping the Sinnoh games as a preparation for the remakes.

Will there be a remake of "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl?"

A report suggested that there will be a remake of "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl." It stated that Generation IV is nearly five years old meaning it's about time to have a remake of the video game. The report added that it is very likely that Generation IV will be available with today's video game standards.
