Apple's Black Friday 2016 one-day shopping event proved had disappointed many shoppers who failed to get $150 less for a Touch Bar MacBook Pro. The Cupertino company only offered gift cards in varying amounts for products such as MacBook or MacBook Pro. Will Cyber Monday be another dud for Apple shoppers?

According to International Business Times, Apple fans must look for third-party retailers if they want a Cyber Monday deal on an Apple device. U.S. retailers such as Target and Best Buy are offering hefty discounts of up to 70%.

The Bit Bag website reported that Cyber Monday may be bigger in terms of popularity than Black Friday. It cited Best Buy as one of the brick-and-mortar retailers preparing a great slate on Apple products including the new MacBook Pro.

The best Apple deals are usually offered beyond Cyber Monday. Best Buy will sell a Mac Book Pro 2016 with Core i5 CPU, 256GB SSD, and 8GB of RAM at $999. Target's discounts range from $150-250 on the iPad Pro 9.7-inch 32GB (available at $449), 128GB (available at $549) and 256GB (available at $649).

This Cyber Monday, Target will offer 15% discount on iPhone 7/7 Plus at Target. Best Buy will have a free gift card worth up to $250 with every iPhone 7 256GB and $100 gift card on 32/128GB Sprint, AT&T and Verizon versions of the device.
