Wiz Khalifa On 'MAMA 2016' To Perform With Surprise K-Pop Star; Excited Fans Curious How The Performance Will Turn Out

Wiz Khalifa is about to set the stage on fire in the upcoming Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2016. Director Kang Hee Jung confirmed Wiz Khalifa's participation during a press conference held at the CJ E&M Center.

Soompi quoted Director Kang Hee Jung when he said "Wiz Khalifa is a singer who topped the Billboard Singles Hot 100 Chart with his song 'Black and Yellow.' He is well-known in Korea for his song 'See You Again,' which was part of the original soundtrack of the 'Fast and Furious franchise."

The 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) is slated on December 2 at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo. "Wiz Khalifa is a recognized hip-hop icon, and he's going to be collaborating with a K-pop artist for a special performance," Kang Hee Jung added. As stated on All K-Pop's article, the identity of the K-pop artist is still unknown and fans should look forward into witnessing the event to see how the performance will turn out.

There's still no specific name or announcement yet about the K-Pop Star who will join Wiz Khalifa on stage, though. Even though there's still no names available online, there are reports which confirm that Suzy Bae will have a great involvement in this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). Because the celebrity line-up is something to really look forward to, it seems that the people behind the event is also setting up an extravagant and glamorous award ceremony for this year.
