There are now posed risks of e-cigarette not just on health but also its ability to blow on a user's pocket. On a most recent report, an e-cigarette exploded in a man's pocket and evidently burned parts of his body.

On CNN News, Ottis Gooding from New York through his attorney said that the device he owned exploded inside his pocket. The evidence shows that Gooding was starting to jump when the e-cigarette started shooting inside his pants.

Admitted at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, Gooding gravely suffered third-degree burns, in a statement given by Attorney Sanford Rubenstein. Nobody else got injured with the recent episode but other employees stand as witness for the case.

There are incidents regarding the explosive e-cigarette that is out in the market. In Florida last February 2012, the 57-year-old Tom Holloway was smoking the device and evidently exploded in his mouth, in an archive report from ABC News.

"I have never heard of or seen anything like this before," said North Bay Fire District Chief Butch Parker. He said the brand is unrecognizable but he is certain that the battery is rechargeable lithium connecting it to the recharging station found in the other room.

Second degree burn was also suffered by Josh Hamilton from Kentucky when his e-Cigarette exploded in his pocket, as reported by NBC News last February. The surveillance camera captured the inexplicable incident as employees of the gas station saw in shock seeing the event.

Food and Drug Authority and other Government agency are making a motion to further strengthen regulation of e-cigarettes. Doctor Stephen Jay of Medicine and Public Health at Indiana University said "while the devices go unregulated, Americans who purchase e-cigarettes do so at their own risk."

The regulation should also include the basic advantage and warnings affecting health of e-cigarettes. As a doctor, they strongly discourage the use of this device until proper regulations issued by experts and of the government.
