LeBron James has been slammed with rumors that he plans to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although the King has denied these claims that he will leave Cleveland a second time, in a new video clip, LeBron is caught telling his former Miami Heat teammate and friend, Dwyane Wade that "if things aren't better this year, we're gonna reunite again and do some bigger and better things, all right?"

LeBron, who stated that he has seen the footage, explained that the conversation he had with Wade was not basketball related at all.

"I've seen that video too," James said. "I don't know exactly what I said, but I know it had nothing to do about basketball. I wouldn't say that on Christmas, in front of cameras. That [conversation] had nothing to do with me leaving here.

He added, "I didn't go to college, but I'm not stupid. If I would have said something, I would have said it the [previous] night to D-Wade. I'm here now and I'm here to build something in the future."

Coach David Blatt also dismissed claims that LeBron will disappoint the Cleveland fans once again.

Blatt said, "I know why LeBron James came back to Cleveland and I know what his commitment is to this team and to his teammates. And I also know exactly what he wants to do here."

Earlier this week, some sources were claiming that LeBron "won't hesitate" to leave Cleveland if his hand were to be forced. LeBron called the rumors "outlandish." According to Paul Swangard, a sports marketing expert, leaving the Cavaliers would be a bad decision for LeBron from a business perspective.

The expert explained to the Northeast Ohio Media Group, according to Cleveland.com, "The risk for him from a business standpoint is that it is going to be so hard to go back on what's been done. The story is woven not only of him making the decision to return, but all the money invested by the brands to tell that story for him, for him to abandon that would be incredibly damaging. He's going to damage his credibility as a marketer. The brands would say, if you're not going to be all in on this, we're not going to be able to trust you to put all our energy and dollars into telling your story."

Nike and Coca-Cola have not commented.

The Cavaliers (18-14) will take on the Charlotte Hornets (10-23) on Friday.
