'Rocket League' News And Update: December Update Brings ‘Steam Workshop’ To Help Gamers Come Up With ‘Custom Creations’

The soccer video game "Rocket League" will soon be receiving an update from the developer, Psyonix. The update will have "Steam Workshop" levels will be added to the game to encourage gamers to develop "custom creations" in it. The new features into Rocket League show the clear vision of the developer to add more modes into the game.

The Steam Workshop is yet another modding community and it will help the modders to add their custom creations into the game. The developer will provide a Steam Workshop Uploader Tool with the next update of Rocket League in December. The tool would have some information like creator name, description about the mode, a preview image etc. to be filled and the creators can submit hence it will be made in the game.

All the gamers of "Rocket League" can find the Steam Workshop levels in the Community Hub page, by searching "Rocket League". Once gamers access the Workshop section, they can see and choose the workshop levels, created by others, and subscribe it for download. The downloaded Workshop levels can be viewed under "Extras" in the main menu of Rocket League. Gamers who have questions about the levels can raise it in the Community Hub page.

The intention of Psyonix is clear and it needs gamers creativity and contributions to the game to make it more popular. This might look little difficult for an average gamer, but whoever used with Steam Workshop will find the creativity development for Rocket League is quite easy. The developer has stressed out to make accurate and sharp images for preview and that should be highly representing what the creativity is.
