Joseph Gordon-Levitt Secretly Weds Tasha McCauley
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a married man!
Several sources are reporting that the "Don Jon" actor has secretly wed his girlfriend, Tasha McCauley. PEOPLE Magazine was the first to report on the actor's nuptials, stating that the couple got married on Dec. 20 in an intimate at-home ceremony.
Gordan-Levitt's rep has confirmed the news to the Los Angeles Times.
The "Inception" actor is known for being very private about his personal life. The first time the 33-year-old ever mentioned having a girlfriend was in September 2013 during "The Howard Stern Show."
He said then, "I have a girlfriend but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. She is not in the show business. The girl that I'm with, she really doesn't want to be a part of it and you can imagine not wanting to have that kind of scrutiny."
Gordan-Levitt did not disclose how long he and his girlfriend have been dating or how they met. In the interview, he also did not mention her name.
McCauley is the co-founder and CEO of Fellow Robots, a robotics company that is based at the NASA Research Park in the Bay Area. She earned a masters degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and speaks three languages, which include English, Arabic and Spanish.
Gordon-Levitt's upcoming projects include Robert Zemeckis' drama, "The Walk." He is also involved in a Christmas 2015 comedy with Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie and Lizzy Caplan.
