If fans of "Black Mirror" would be asked if what universe they would want to visit, most of them would answer "San Junipero". The director of the episode, Owen Harris, shared his view on ending that was loved especially by the LGBT sector.

Since its popularity grows on the internet, there have been various theories about San Junipero's ending and the fate of Kelly (Mackenzie Davis) and Yorkie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw). The most popular one is a downer, where a post in Reddit said that Kelly did not really "passed over" and it's just computer generated.

Harris confirmed  that Kelly and Yorkie did spend eternity together in San Junipero, debunking the theory. Although, he said there are factors lurking under their happy ending.

Harris also added that a parallel San Junipero universe could exist within "Black Mirror" episodes. He discussed why fans craving for a sequel of the beloved episode should think twice since its creator Charlie Brooker might not want to have another happy ending in the series.

If there would be a sequel, Harris said that viewers will have to face it that Brooker would write it. In "Black Mirror" episodes where Brooker wrote the story, most of them show a sad ending for the characters.

Since its premiere, San Junipero has been a wonder for the fans. In the episode, audience learn that San Junipero is a therapy for "nostalgia" and a virtual reality where older and dying people like Yorkie and

In the end, the pair got married in their heaven, since they could not wed in the real 1987 because same-sex marriage is still not legal, spent their death together in the simulated heaven, driving off in the sunset to Heaven Is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle.

The episode has been critically acclaimed and was celebrated by "Black Mirror" fans, who have taken to social media to applaud the '80s nostalgia and its moving and hopeful story of two LGBT characters, which is still rare on television.

For those who want to take their San Junipero experience with music, Brooker created a 42-song Spotify playlist for the fans. Not only that, acclaimed composer Clint Marshall also created a score specifically for the episode.

The 10-track score that would be released on vinyl and digital format will encapsulate fans with 1980's vibe. It would be released by Lakeshore Records on Dec. 2.
