Chrissy Teigen apologized on her wardrobe malfunction at the recently concluded American Music Awards. In the most hilarious response, the model tweeted "I am pretty sure you could clearly see I'm a lady."

Teigen wore an utterly revealing black dress last Sunday. The dress comes with a deep slit that goes all the way to her torso on both sides held together by just safety pins! She was very proud of revealing her post-baby body, but the dress showed off more than she bargained for when the dress flashed open, resulting to an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

Last Monday, she addressed the experience through Instagram wherein she posted:

"#AMAs! love you so so so much @jenatkinhair @1maryphillips@monicarosestyle @kimmiekyees(apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha) dress is#yousefakbar and shoes are @dsquared2and laser hair removal is@sevlaseraesthetics"

Nevertheless, the public wasn't too keen to accept her excuse. The model received lots of hate messages, to which Teigen wittingly replied through Twitter, "I am pretty sure you could clearly see I'm a lady."

Chrissy Teigen was joined by her husband John Legend at AMAs. Legend coordinated with his wife in his black trousers and a button up. He also wears a patterned black and gray blazer which completed the look.

It was Teigen who introduced her husband at the AMA stage. She started her speech with "So this next performer is a brilliant musician and a wonderful father, who makes a pretty d**n good breakfast sandwich" and even joked "he has been known to write love songs about me. What can I say? I'm very inspiring."

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their daughter Luna last April. The two first met in 2007 while the singer is doing his music video for Stereo. The two were wed in September 2013 in Italy.
