Tickets for "Star Wars Rogue One" went on sale just a couple of days ago with only less than a month left before the official screening. As fans start their countdown, more details are revealed about the real role of Darth Vader in this film.

In the trailers released months ago, there were no specific details seen behind Vader's appearance. But recently, a source just revealed to Star Wars News Net that a climactic scene involving the Sith Lord and Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), the film's main antagonist, will happen.

Krennic is the Director of Advanced Weapons Research for the Imperial Military, and his confrontation with Vader goes around ordering the Empire to wait before letting out the power of Death Star. Apparently, Vader's demand was ignored and there are speculations that this is what will lead to Krennic's defeat. There is no confirmation that Emperor Palatine is the one who sent Vader to Krennic, but there is a great possibility he did, Cinema Blend reported.

In a news by Blastr, Kiri Hart, story development head at Lucasfilm, said "There are military men who are interested in a really effective piece of military hardware, and Darth Vader is a little bit beyond that, right? He's tapped into something on another level, on a spiritual level. So, that's part of the fun of Vader in the context of the Imperial Military. He's got a broader perspective."

According to Express UK, the film "Rogue One" is set in between the time of "Star Wars" episode 3 and 4. In terms of the setting, other sources say that aside from the gigantic space station where the Rebellion are, they will also be eyeing on a planet called Scarif where a primary Imperial military base is located.

What other threats could Darth Vader bring in the movie? How savage would this space war be? In a few weeks' time questions will be answered on the big screen.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is the first in the Anthology Series planned by Disney. The film opens in theaters on Dec. 16.
