"Sherlock Season 4"  is only a few breaths away from its pilot on January 1, 2017 and here are the latest spoilers for you.

Reports revealed that the previous filming of Doctor Strange, by Marvel Cinema involving the Sherlock star himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, is thought to be the reason for the delay.  Yet, it seems that many are still interested about getting updates about the upcoming series. Three episodes of the 'Sherlock Season 4' revolves around the character of Smith, Thatcher and Sherrinford.  It also has a higher chance of Sherlock and Irene Adler's reunion in the next season.

Marti Freeman also enters the screen as a good man, Dr. John Watson.

'Sherlock Season 4' created and written by the dynamic duo, Steven Moffat and Mark Gattis begins with Sherlock reunited with Doctor Watson (Martin Freeman) and his lovely wife Mary (Amanda Abbington).  The two braces for the new challenge of becoming parents.

This last tranche also intends to solve the thread of thrillers in the series.  Moriarty for an instance is coming back.  If confirmed, Moriarty will make Sherlock's life even more difficult.  Culverton Smith, (Toby Jones), will have a significant role in trying to kill Sherlock via injecting a full pack of deadliest tropical disease in his arm.  Another mystery is the third brother of Sherlock.

The mention of Sherlock's third brother will soon be revealed although the role is still an understudy.  There are talks that have been circulating that Tom Hiddlestone is being tapped for the role. There are other names that have been floating but nothing is definite yet as of this writing. One thing is sure, though, there will be another brother and his identity will be released soon.

Sherlock will return in "The Six Thatchers" on January 1, 2017 coined MASTERPIECE on PBS.
