It looks like SNK is working on a release of classic Neo-Geo games for Playstation 4. The Samurai Shodown VI is said to be scheduled for launching this 22nd of November. This is after the release of the old-school favorite King of Fighters just last week.

Fans can expect a visually upgraded Samurai Shodown VI. It will be released with the same title and will get a trophy support. The said release was announced on the PlayStation Blog, which was also confirmed by the company.

The Samurai Shodown VI was launched in Japan in the year 2005. This is the tenth entry in the Samurai Shodown series. It should be noted that a Playstation 2 version was also launched, which features 28 characters. In the previous version, the fighter comes with 2D and 3D elements.

The new game will be featuring a roster of fighters to choose from, it will include more than 40 combatants, which include several favorites from the saga. New characters are also joining the team! There is very few information about the port, although it is expected that they follow suit with the other SNK releases.

Samurai Shodown is definitely a game worth the attention of many PlayStation aficionados out there. Although no information about the price was given, gamers think that it will be around $10 to $20, based on the price of other PS games around.

Here's a snippet from PlayStation Blog about the release of the Samurai Shodown VI for Playstation 4:
